Oh God, please tell me that such things don't actually happen! What the hell, if that really happens... that's inhuman! I hate how cruel people can be. Maybe I'm too naive, but that can't really exist, can it?

And I hope Dave and Kurt get out of this okay! I feel so much for them, geeze, who do those people and especially those bimbos think they are! Poor Dave and Kurt.

Well, I don't know what goes on inside a Reform Camp (their website says that it's just Bible studies, but people come out of their psychologically messed up), but I do know that these are legit forms of torture. I did some research hoping to find some ways that I figured people would be tortured.

As for if Dave and Kurt get out, I have no clue yet. I make it all up as I go. I never lay out a story. I just open a word doc and start typing. :/

I remember reading about one girl who was tied to a car by her hands and rope and was made to run along with the the car. They make them to physical work that someone from the army say was more them what they had to do. When you're physically exhausted your easier to emotionally manipulate. I've also heard of being locked in a closet for several day with only water and being pressed to the ground having a bunch of people yell for the devil to be released. That's what one type of faith healing is. That is not just suppose to cure gayness. I'm a member to several atheist groups so I hear whenever religious people do something really stupid.

On a lighter note look up the movie: But I'm a Cheerleader
It's a mockery of these types of camps. You can probably just type in watch but i'm a cheerleader for free and find something that works.

Is A Clockwork Orange an inspiration for this?

That horrible and disgusting, I really really hope that kind of thing doesnt happen. The people that do it are the ones that need "reprogramming" not poor people like Kurt and Dave!!!

I'm interested to see how this pans out.

Considering that I don't know what 'Is A Clockwork Orange' is, I'm going to say that it is not an inspiration. (:

To be honest, I'm really interested to see where this goes as well.
