Okay, I'll admit it. Bush is an idiot. Still, I don't think that this whole affair went as badly as everyone is saying. Is there nepotism in FEMA? Yes. Were the effected areas underprepared? Absolutely. But lets look a little bit at the state governments too. My parents lived in the N.O. area for 3 years before moving to Jersey. The whole region is so corrupt that all it takes to win an election is a little curry-favoring and a well placed bribe or two. Yet all people are doing is pointing the blame up at FEMA. That is unfortunate to say the least. And I agree with you, Jon. How can we even place Homeland Security in charge of natural disaster releif? You can't prevent a hurricane, no matter how much you "prepare". But I have to argue with you about the releif efforts. It took months to get help to the tsunami victims the way we have gotten it to the people effected by Katrina. I urge you too look at some statistics. Either way, I must agree that the president is in some real danger if he doesn't shape up. If he were dispatched,
