So. Tired. *yawns* I also have rather a feeling of impending do0m at the moment. One of the not-so-pleasant parts of spending a lot of time with young children: those weeks when they all seem to be getting sick at the same time. Isn't it funny how the much greater their desire to cuddle tends to be when they're not feeling well? Also, the fact that ( Read more... )

Oh, ack--I hope in this case, being around sick kids has just bolstered your immunities. And oh, yes, I will certainly pray for you about the exercising. Heh, heh...I so know how that is. I always have grand ambitions for that, but...I actually really hate to exercise while people are watching me, and there's just nowhere to go in our house to get away from that. :P So I just take walks, generally....

Awww, what a cute stuffed dragon! *wants one* And LOL! Oh, such a fun icon...that was a great episode. :D ( ... )

Well, I have stuck with it enough to do the first day's exercise! Annnd now I can barely lift my arms. There is a reason this first phase is called "boot camp." Ow. (I'm really glad I'm doing this. Can you tell? *g*) Heh, that is it exactly - often one of my main difficulties with sticking to exercising is that I really, really hate doing it when people are watching me. And doing, say, crunches while lying on the hard bathroom floor tends to be rather painful. :P This time it's a little easier, because Nef's decided to do it too (and when we're doing it at the same time, we're both far too busy to be watching each other *g*), and Eric is now forbidden from coming down to the family room while we're doing it, on pain of death, dismemberment, and no more dessert. Not necessarily in that order ( ... )

Ha! Yes, Abi and I have been known to ban all male family members from the house when doing aerobics or something like that.... And with this yoga routine I was doing for awhile, the dvd commentary was just so incredibly stupid that I was embarrassed to have anyone else around listening to it. *g* But yay, I'm glad you've stuck through one day. :D I'll be praying you keep consistency; I know that's always hard.

Heh, and it is funny how computers will get certain genders attached to them.... So far, all of mine have seemed very masculine to me, including this new one. :D

Wheee, T.S. Eliot! *uses icon* He is a challenge though--Practical Cats is a bit of an exception for him. I advise following all footnotes. :D (To quote Eliot himself...."Genuine poetry can communicate before it is understood." Which is sort of the way I've felt about all of his stuff initially.... *g*) One of these days, I mean to read one of his plays and see how those compare to his poetry.... :D
