Thinking shouldn't be this hard!

Gah. *bangs head on wall* I made such an idiot out of myself at the post office today. In front of one of the women in charge of our local area arts board, no less, for added impact. Not one of the people who'll be making decisions on the grant I applied for, but she is making decisions on... another artistic endeavor I'm involved in, which I will ( Read more... )

tired, randomness, *sighs*

*hands Cami a Caf-Pow* (Ahaha, see, it's YOUR FAULT I'm now making NCIS references right and left. *g*)

Oh, I'm sorry you're feeling that way! I really, really know how it is...had a conversation like that myself this morning. *winces at own st00pidity* But you know, for what it's worth...I really bet she didn't think as much of it as you do, or that it's really so bad that it's worth kicking yourself about. *huggles* Generally, (or so I'm told, LOL) people seldom think twice about those things which the individual in question is so inclined to kick themselves over. Anyway, I hope your mind is soon put at ease; I'll be praying for you! I do know how unfun those kinds of feelings are, and how hard it is to be productive when you're having them. *hugs again*

And eeee! I do hope you have (or had, doubtless) a lovely time seeing Pirates of Penzance!

He, Caf-Pow! Man, that sounds good about now...

Heh heh, yeah... I keep trying to tell myself that they've probably forgotten all about it ten minutes later, but still - when I cannot even manage to mail a package without numerous blank stares and stupid questions ("Do you want them to sign for it?" "Um... Wait, what?" :P), it is painful. At least she was really patient and nice about it, though. And, er, I guess I'm memorable now? Yeah, when next we meet, and I'm trying to convince her of my professionalism and talent, she'll say, "Oh, yes, I remember! You were the girl who couldn't figure out the difference between first class and regular mail!" *facetable*

Ah well. I am feeling better, and... at least I can laugh about it now? Also, I have new icons, which makes me happy. I can't help but laugh, looking at this one. (Tony just asked Gibbs how to say "I should have known" in sign language, in case you're wondering. *bg*)
