Many people from different areas of my life have for as long as I can recall accused me of being a negative person. This conclusion I have noticed has really separated the men from the boys in terms of those who enjoy my friendship and company and those who just can't deal. Aren't the people with the low standards and terrible expectations the ones who are really being "negative"?

We've seen that these people are not down with the program and by negating reality they are in fact being "negative". We describe them as negative because of their values, not because we disagree with them and are trying to make them feel guilty because of it.

It is ironic...I wish I had this quote on deck at NOTOCON.

But this isn't an problem that is limimted to the OTO...it just so happens that the OTO suffers from all the same problems as modern society.
