It's fantastically retro, I love it. Where did you get one so cheap, a flea market? I've been looking at offers online, I've found one in a disgusting shade of orange for ten euros or an adorable grey one that comes with a case for twenty. *covets* Decorative purposes are very important!
I found it at a car boot sale just today. It has a removable cover with a handle, so it's portable. Not an attractive cover, mind you.
I haven't really paid that much attention to the prices of old typewriters before, but I suspect that here in Finland 10 euros or so would be the starting price, in any age range or condition, but cool looking ones would probably start from 15 or 20 euros. I haven't really come across anything except ugly 1990s electric ones for a tenner, or proper antique ones for much, much more.
I suspect this individual is from the 70s, but it could be newer. The colour is definitely 70s, lol.

It's so purdy. A gorgeously horrid shade of green. And only cost me five euros, so no harm done even if it didn't get used beyond decorative purposes.
