It was three years ago I saw my first Grisaille up close and personal at the Taft Museum in Cincinnati. It literally took my breath away. My heart started beating faster. I knew I had to try and do this - but I had a problem. I couldn't draw.
This was the kind of piece I was up against!

I would love to know more about what enamels and/or techniques you used, if you do not consider them a trade secret. :)
The grisaille I've done has been satisfying, but has used materials that are not currently made- so I resist getting too enamored of it, sine once i use up the bits I have, I'm out of luck. :P I've been researching other materials, though, and would love to know what and how you do this, if you're comfortable sharing. :)
