Puck really does need someone to tell him he matters. He needs a lot of things. But those come later.

I'm already planning out a follow-up in my head. That means there will probably be more.

Well, WOW. Good effort. Excellent effort. Glad you warned for depression. This might be the best bit of descriptive fiction from the POV of a depressed person I've ever read. (I hope your ok. Take care of yourself. ) I certainly recognize the symptoms.

I hope you continue this: quality like this is rare, so please, do give us more. And a nice little happy ending of course (why yes, I do live on the royal barge on that river in Egypt…)

(I am doing quite well, thank you very much. I've had bits of direct experience in the past, but those seem to be long behind me and that's a good thing.)

Wow. Just wow. I'm so glad that this conveyed everything I wanted it to.

You should most definitely continue this.
Pessimistically, this is actually kind of canon because Puck has said stuff like that he'll either be dead or in prison in less than 10 years. That line shattered my heart and I'm still concerned about him.
He really does need someone to tell him that he matters and that he's not just a Lima Loser like he's always been told :[

It really isn't too far off from canon to picture him like this, and that is the really saddening part.
