Mod Post: Extension/Reminder, and a New Challenge!

Guh, I totally meant to do this over the weekend but things just caught up with me.

The deadline for our Alternate Reality theme was supposed to be this past Saturday, but seeing as how we only got one entry, and I didn't remind y'all, I'm going to extend the challenge until Friday, February 17, 2006 at midnight, EST. The rules and such can be

Hey, new member here. Joined a month or so ago, but haven't had time to right anything yet. Tis the woes of college.

I personally really like the challenge themes. I wanted to try an AU focusing either on England a few centuries after 1066 if William had never "conquered" (after all, if he hadn't moved in, english as we know it today wouldn't exist!) or perhaps something with a more modern approach. However, again, the issue of time crops up. Besides little blurts that I right as often as possible (though I'm lucky these days if I do it once a week) just to keep my pen writing and thoughts flowing, I have had no time for creative writings. :(

Hopefully if I get past next week (full of papers and exams), I'll be able to do the Photograph challenge. Sounds very cool! Thanks so much, and sorry.

Hola! Another lurker - sorry. The AU just didn't do anything for me, but this one sounds great. I'll try to whip something up. ^^
