This place only seems to get more charming.
[Private to Crane]
We're going to the CES to read your file. In about.. five minutes time. Do be ready.
[Private to Rose]
No one objected to my taking you to the CES. How's tomorrow for you?
[Private to Capa]
Doctor Crane doesn't want you reading his file. I apologize for the confusion.
[ooc; Sorry

[He paused for a second before continuing, looking intently at the ground as he walked.] Of course, that's based on the assumption that the Admiral actually wants me to graduate.

"The Admiral's a faceless git who I'm fairly convinced doesn't want anything except entertainment. It's not your fault you haven't had a good warden, Jonathan, and it's not fair to you either, but we're not all bad." [His tone was entirely serious, void of any potential humor or mocking.]

Only the vast majority of you. [Crane was aware that there were some wardens who didn't seem overly malicious. Just misguided, in terms of what he would consider could psychological treatment.] Besides, if you don't agree with the Admiral's methods, you can always leave.

"Do you consider me one of the bad ones?" [Then, in a slightly more lighthearted tone:] "I don't want to leave; I'm rather enjoying this little vacation."
Reply
You haven't killed anyone yet. That's a start. [Crane still held a significant grudge against Paddy for that.] Although I have to doubt the sanity of anyone who enjoys being on the barge.

I never said that I hated you. [Crane paused, somewhat awkwardly.] At least no more than everyone else.

[Fastforwarding~.]
[The two arrived at the CES without incident, primarily not speaking. As they approached the warden door, Eames did the same slip of the poker chip as always, letting the door open and then flashing it out of sight again. In truth, Eames kept more than one chip up his sleeve in case someone went looking for his item, and it would be hard to tell which was which unless they knew what to look for. He had forged chips specifically to look like his item which, at present, read Crane's name.]
"After you."

Not what I had been expecting. [Crane said, assuming that Eames would have followed him through.]

[The warden was already seeking out a place to settle down and look into Crane's file, aiming for the moderately-sized collection of rocks to go sit on. He trusted Crane to follow.]

Someone could end up in open ocean out here one day. [Crane said under his breath. If it was him, that would be horrible. If it were anyone else, it would probably be quite amusing.]

Taking a seat on one of the larger rocks, the warden settled in. He lifted the briefcase into his lap, rolling the digits into place: 528. The view was obscured from Crane intentionally. Eames removed the two stacks and immediately closed the briefcase, changing the numbers to 232 with relative ease as he set it aside.]
"I've gotten you a file, as promised, but I'm afraid I can't let you keep it in your room. You'll be able to read it and it will be available to you at any time in my room. I doubt the security of your room and I'm not allowing anyone else to get a hold of this. Do you understand?"
