Yay! I'm so glad it worked! DELICIOUS yes? And pretty easy. Looks like you actually found hazelnuts and not the macadamias I substituted. How much of a difference did it make? Did you reduce the amount of oils you put in the bean salad? (I sort of wish I had.)

Nope. I made the bean salad pretty much per the recipe, but I think I had slightly more than a pound of snowpeas and beans so it handled the oil very well. The almond oil was super light.

The hazelnuts had different texture and taste, but it wasn't radically different. I thought the macadamias worked very well too.

Ah, you were using almond oil? I used macadamia oil. Maybe that was a difference.

oh wow....even though I've been struggling with low motivation to cook, seeing that homemade pasta makes me want some of my own! That roasted red pepper salsa looks fabulous too. Looks delicious for a meal you just threw together!
