Abby's prognosis is revealed.  Tony and Abby share a sweet little moment.  Gibbs?  Well, he's up to something strange.

Just as the target got into his car, Gibbs looked away from the scope and up into Abby’s face.

Guh. A very good 'Guh.' I feel like I got socked in the stomach from the ending, and the last sentence of the beginning part. Very nice team dynamics too. :D You're probably tired of this by now, but more plz?

I don't know how, but I completely missed you posting part 2 so I just read that and this now, very nice! I'm enjoying it a lot ^^

One thing I noticed, in the bit where Gibbs is picking stuff up for Abby:

"which for some he’d found in the fridge when he’d gone to clean out the perishables."

I imagine it should be 'for some reason'? :)

Love the dream sequences - at first I was thinking that Gibbs had found Abby's shooter, etc. Love the team unity - McGee's idea to make Amy his next hero was great. Please - send more??

Thanks, yeah the dreams were kind of a random thing that just happened. It never even occured to me that it might be Gibbs finding the shooter, but it actually makes a lot of sense!
