I'm starting to doubt how I feel about my fics. I'm worried that if they weren't written by me, and each word was new to me as I read it, then would I think it was too OC? I don't know...maybe I'm just having a fic crisis. Any suggestions you guys have on keeping things in character would be greatly appreciated. Notes on where you think I've ( Read more... )

I read this last night, well yesterday evening, and totally forgot to respond. Sorry!
I love this, it seems so plausable that Lila's first word would be 'boat'. Lovelly, beautiful, a bright spot in my otherwise rather dark day (i'd had a small fall off an atv onto rock earlier in the day. ouch.)

Oh gosh, you fell on a rock? I hope you're alright. I'm not sure what an ATV is though.

It wasn't A rock, but rather, many rocks. I was at a beach made of smooth river stones, rather than sand. An ATV is a 4-wheeler motorbike, without the clutch.
