Today, FOUR HOURS after donating blood, while I was in chem lab, I fainted.  Twice.  And one of the times I hit my head and now I have a cut and lump right above my left ear.  I felt better pretty quickly afterwards.  Well enough to walk back to my room.  So yea.  That was kind of exciting, and weird, b/c I have never fainted before.  Donating

I'm sorry! I fainted the first time I had blood drawn (not donated; it was just a small extraction for tests... but still kinda freaky... yea). It can be pretty scary.

EAT after you donate! And even more importantly, DRINK fluids. (You probably did this... but it bears saying again).

I hope you're feeling lots better now though! Just be careful the next time you give blood, if you do.
