An emotional difficult job you have, I hope you leave it at work and don't mentally/emotionally bring it home with you.

Very well written.

People like yourself have a very difficult job. How you get through it I will never fully understand.

Great entry!

I don't know how I get through it either. It's very draining. Of course not all of my cases are sad stories like these, it just seems that more are lately.

The support you give is immeasurable. Helping to bridge people to something better and safer. This was beautifully written.

Thanks. I just look at it as my job but I think people look at it as something more.

I'm definitely replaceable at my job though. Someone else could do it, even if they did it differently.

A lot of wisdom in this piece, and much compassion too. I have been where your clients are, stuck with the realization that I couldn't even manage to end my life properly. It's one of the worst things I've ever felt.

Keep doing what you do. You may not always realize it, but to someone, you are the light at the end of a really dark tunnel.

That is what my clients always say, that it is the worst feeling in the world. I try to be compassionate for those who need it most. These clients usually are not among the group that are the whiners, which makes them a bit easier to work with.
