And maybe it didn't like moving. As long as it's still glowing a bit, it's probably alright.

Not really, although I don't know how it knows, seeing as it's still inside its shell. It's probably best that you did it before it hatched, if it could move, it might have tried to run home. I think pets sometimes do that if you try to get them to move house.

I hope you're taking good care of it, Daisukenojo. Not that I think you wouldn't.
