Fushigi Yugi, huh? Very light reading. ;) I read the whole thing, and I guess it's the definitive Yuu Watase, but I like Alice 19th way better, and it's a lot shorter and easier on the wallet. =)

(Well, that and I disliked the protagonist of Fushigi Yugi, she reminded me way too much of a self-absorbed ex-friend who did nothing but bitch constantly and gorge herself on food...)

Well, they were the anthologies and I borrowed them from my local library, so it was actually very easy on my wallet. XD

And I've read Alice 19th! It was very good. It's been a number of years since I've read the whole thing but I remember that I bought each and every book on my own. Considering I was in high school, that was a big deal.

Yeah, Alice 19th is probably my favorite Yuu Watase, which can be hit or miss for me. There are some manga artists I'm all about and Yuu Watase just isn't one of them. I liked the plot of Ceres too, though admittedly I didn't read all of that one (watched the anime though, although probably a lot is different there as is often the case with such things.)
