I know that missing one problem on a math test should not be a big deal (considering most of my tests during seventh grade Algebra 1 had many, many more wrong than that), but it really put a damper on my day.

Why?

Because I have to come in during a Mustang morning and make up the section I didn't understand.

*gasp*

You don't like socratic seminars?!

I utterly enjoyed them last year.

But then, it was very loose and we didn't have to fill out paperwork and it was basically just us arguing with each other about specific topics.

Are yours strict? Because when they're strict they're no fun.

Moving on... good job on the History quiz! You rock my socks!

yes. loathe and despise them.
everyone says the same thing over and over, and everyone speaks in a monotone.
they bore me to death and I don't like them at all.
and they shouldn't be strict, but people think they'll get bonus points if they talk and talk and talk.
basically, they don't work well up here.
and thank ya, you rock my socks too =D

Wow, yours do sound boring.
Ours are always filled with passionate arguing and, on occasion, raised voices and extreme examples ("Bang your dead! All your rights are now gone!"). Very interesting to just listen to, you can see who really cares about what.
We had some people who would repeat the same thing over again and talk and talk and talk (to filibuster) but Hall usually got them to shut up because the rest of the class wanted to attack the stupid person's mindless blathering.
I rock your socks? YES! My life's goal has been completed! You rock my socks twice as much now!
