So it was another gala, or function, or charity fund raiser, or.... something. It didn't matter, they were all the same self congratulatory exercise in back patting. Robb had done his part as the son of the late, great Ned Stark by turning up and smiling nicely for the cameras outside. Now he was just working on getting drunk and biding his time until he could sneak out unseen and do something else more interesting.

At least there didn't seem to be any press actually inside the party. So maybe it wasn't just a PR event, maybe it was an actual party. It might get interesting if he stuck around...

John had considered having someone enter with a gun and open fire. But he'd decided that being subtle was a much a better plan. Around the room was small canisters of gas, it wouldn't kill everyone, only those particularly susceptible, the old and weak.

The man he'd just spotted was anything but. He was no Sherlock but he was a beautiful picture. He walked the picture of coy "hi" he said softly to rhe Stark lad.

He was on his second glass of champagne when he was approached by someone he didn't recognise. He seemed a little out of place to be honest, amongst all this old and new money, all competing to out-snob each other. This guy with ashen blond hair seemed down to Earth. Robb instantly liked him.

"Hi." He smiled, taking another sip. "It's quite the event, right?"

"I've really no idea how I got an invite" he chuckled "I'm John Watson" he said offering his hand to shake. "I saw you across the room, I thought maybe you felt a little out of place too?" He smiled.
