I'm going to start ordering more books from Amazon, I complain about being mentally bored all the time but hardly ever do anything to stimulate my mind ( Read more... )

The Lovely Bones was very sad, but very good. I got it from the library and couldn't stop talking about it, so I am very happy that I got it for Christmas.

If you like to cook... I'm loving Anthony Bourdain's "Kitchen Confidential". That man is awesome and i love the way he tells stories.. he's aggressive and honest and very blunt. Great writing style and totally funny non-fiction about his experiences traveling & cooking..

Quick example of his writing:

He said he knew he wanted to be a chef when he was catering a wedding one night.. and the bride came into the kitchen, whispered into the chef's ear, and two seconds later was getting butt f*cked outside in the back of the restaurant... Anthony watched and thought it was the coolest thing he's ever seen.. and decided then and there he would dedicate his life to being a chef. Plus he realized he would get to carry a knife around, and felt like a pirate. :)
