my only 2 cents is trying to eat healthy foods, in addition to watching caloric intake

fit in some eggs, nuts, vegetables.. lean meat like chicken breast or boneless pork chops, fish when you can...

fruit
milk
beans/legumes
whole grains

There are a lot of things in healthy food that is important to your body's health...

here were times when we had to hunt in the wilderness and load up on food at once, then go days before we ate again. I'm not saying that's what we should be doing, but I am saying our bodies can handle it without any severe long term effects.

and way back then people lived until.. 30? heheh ;P

500 according to the bible! JEYYYYYYYYYSUS-CHRIST!!!!

And I can totally tell you skimmed over my entry without reading all the other points I made about it not being the healthiest choice around. It's def not, but my main rant is you're not going to slow your metabolism down overnight. I was bored on Saturday and got annoyed with a few repeat theories on these dieting message boards I kept coming across.

Besides, it was probably disease and lack of medical care that killed people off back then, not so much going a day or two without eating. Our bodies are way more resilient than ya think...except when it comes to you know...blunt trauma.
