I could never know what is best for you to do...all I will say is to NOT immediately follow your heart. Really put some thought into what will be best for you and your future. The people and things that matter will be here for you no matter which direction you decide to go. *hugs*
Hey your plan sounds pretty solid to me, I mean what if you decide you don't want to cut hair or act a 4 year degree will get you paid. It makes no difference what your degree is in but if its artsie you may reconsider your plans yet again and go for the degree.
Long term people with a degree are more confident, more successful and more likely to be happy. Just don't talk about that hair school anymore, talk about going into advertising as a profession then if you change your mind at least you will have your 4 year degree and some idea as to what you want out of life.

Don't shit on yourself before the party starts.
