Challenge Ideas?

So I am really enjoying playing sims 3 at the moment. It is great fun. I think it is kinda a more of a...casual game than the sims 2, I don't focus on the little details like making up story lines and personalties for each of the sims, and I just let them make things up  on their own. It's really amusing, and a nice change from my playing style in ( Read more... )

I've been toying with the idea of a BACC myself, because I want to make myself build some stuff. There's also the prosperity challenge which is similar in my opinion, but with less structure than the BACC one. In my case, that's a good thing., :P

Thanks for the suggestion Dozo, but your challenge is for sims 3 right? I want to do a challenge for sims 2 at the moment, but I may give your challenge a try in the future! Looks like fun! :D

I've been interested in Prosperity Challenge for a while now but I've been too lazy to read what it is about :D But the little I know about it sounds really interesting. Perhaps you could combine Build a City Challenge and Prosperity Challenge together? Then try to add some ISBI and Asylum at the same time, should be interesting ;)

I'm just like you when it comes to Legacy Challenge because it just doesn't interest me at all. I LOVE reading other people's legacies and I'm really enjoying them but I'm not interested to do a Legacy myself. It seems too isolated for me because I want to have a neighbourhood where every sim is connected to each other (or one another? others? I'm too tired to write English :D). I like having a mayor family, taxes, non-Maxis jobs, try to get as many townies involved as possible etc.

I think combining the BACC and Prosperity Challenge would be nice to do. I mean there are things I really like about the BACC such as unlocking the careers and community lots, and then that combined with the Prosperity challenge's system of using a dice to determine number of sims and familes.... I'll have to have a more detailed look through the rules of both challenges, and see what I like. :D

Yeah I know I would just get bored by like 2nd gen if I attemped a legacy. They are great to read, but yeah...playing just one family? No. And I don't really feel they really are as "challenging" as say a BACC. Well apart from the fact it would be challenging not to be bored. Lol!

Oh and is an ISBI the one where you just control one sim in a family? That would be awesome! :D

I've been doing BACC at the moment on Sims 2. I'm really enjoying it. I really needed something to push me to build. I haven't done any Sims 3 challenges yet. :/
