Yep! I went into town yesterday and I just couldn't help myself! So I bought Sims 3! Not going to give my opinion on it yet; I don't think I have played it enough yet. Well I hardly played it all, because the camera was making me feel really sick. Definitely getting a camera mod before I play again. So I'll just leave you with the pictures I took!

Great pictures! I can see you like the scenery and the improved hands ;) I can't wait to hear what you think about the game in general.

(Ps. I use aikea-guinea's camera mod and it definitely makes a difference.)

Thanks Penny! :D I have just installed that mod now, and yes I agree it's amazing! Makes such a difference! Messing around with the graphics settings now to see what works best. I want to have it as high as possible, but that might make it too slow...

Maggie is really pretty. I have yet to put a blonde in my game and don't know why, you inspired me to do so. :D

Thank you! It's nice to have inspired someone. I am glad you think she is pretty, because I spent a long time in CAS trying to get a nice looking sim; I need some practise with it and need to download a facial slider hack at some point too.

Hehe. You gave in. :P I've been shocked at the number of people who were getting motion sick from playing the game! I can't wait to hear your thoughts on the game. There are so many conflicting opinions right now.

I was fighting a losing battle really. :P Yeah, I think they messed up really, really badly with the camera. I can't believe no one noticed that in testing. If it wasn't for aikea guinea's mod I really don't think I could play the game. It was that bad. It's true about the conflicting opinions; I think it really strange how a game could divide so many people! Some people hate it, some love it.

Hi Imi! I happened to stumble upon your journal and wow, such nice pictures! :D The TS2 pictures were love, but these are also great! I can't believe I never found you before. :)

You have created such a cute little Sim. She has a really unique face! And oh, the hands!

I am glad you think she has a unique face, because I really struggled with the CAS sliders (one of the things I don't like). I can't wait to install a CAS slider hack, but I am trying to play without hacks at first (well apart from a camera hack but I don't think I could have played at all without that) to get a real feel for the game.
