Hi. I'm new to all this livejournal stuff, but I've been wanting to create a blog that's all about me being a fangirl. Hello!! OMG my story is similar to yours!!! I always shunned Asian dramas until last year Aug 2008 I was so bored and had seen all the latest eps of all the American episodes that I follow.. then I decided to search online Meteor Garden Tagalog (as I was not into reading subs then) when I found it I just ended up watching it then got so hooked!!! That show really is a classic. It still is my favorite version up to now.

It really touched me despite their bad acting but they were newbies so it was ok. The story was good. Some said it was draggy but i felt like it was required to really see the development of their feelings towards each other.

Now I watch Taiwanese shows and Japanese. Still have a lot to watch in terms of catching up though.

oh i dont have much to recommend. i haven't seen much. Only the basic ones. ahaha What have u seen? im watching mars now. Im not done with it. A lot of people said it's good. Still not very much into it yet. Although it is different..

I absolutely love Mars. If Meteor Garden got me interested in dramas, Mars just sucked me in. 30+ dramas later, I still consider it my favorite. I hope you enjoy it too. Silence (also with Vic Zhou) is also a beautiful story. I highly recommend that one. It's pretty heavy though.

I'll post up a list of all the dramas I've seen. There are a lot! And I really should keep track of them. :)
