I LOVE your answer to this! I'm an agnostic atheist and really wish church and state were separate here in Ireland. But alas, we have a long way to go yet! My son is currently enrolled in a Catholic affiliated school. I have already talked to his teacher and luckily he won't have to participate in any Catholic practices, but still... I know he is going to be socially excluded because of that. I'm trying to lessen the impact of that exclusion. Things would be better if we could afford to send him to a multidenominational school but that's not an option at this point :(
