My statement still stands. While survival may be the 'cheese', they have given little thought to the cause forcing them to seek it in the first place.

Fatal's a weird word to use. No one died, did they? And the amnesia followed a pattern with physical age - just as inexplicable as being returned to a prior state in our lives.

Though I guess if you're one of the alien species, the child mentality you may or may not have had would have been introduced, sure.
