Those last two are horrible. Ice Beam/Thunderbolt should be there somewhere.

you are fucking dumb joey. they hit 100% of the time and together means a 25% chance of them actually hitting you. combine that with the speed boost from thunder wave and recover and leftovers and it is unstopable. the only way to kill it is within the first 2 turns or you are fucked.

A 25% percent chance. How big is that? How often has paralysis not effected you at all? Same with confusion. You can race them with the other two. Not only that, Ice beam gives you a chance to completely stop their attacks for at least one turn. Ice beam gives you a way out against a grass types, Dragonnites, and random flying types.

why would you have to race them when you can flat out win when they can't hit you? the only pokemon that has a high enough special attack to kill starmie in one hit are alakazam and mewtwo. one of which she won't be seeing. the other only chris can use. you do not need the edge considering you get the 1.5X bonus of being water with surf, therefore even type advantage doesnt matter. also depending on the meta she can switch out surf with either of the other 2.
