Today, I discovered my college is now offering full-on summer semesters, with fully online classes.They had never offered this before. They never announced this change, and--to top it off--registration for the summer semester is almost over! I found out it started on May 1st. Classes start on the 26th ( Read more... )

Yeah, seriously! I've been looking into it as well as what's needed in order to transfer to the university. It's ... been frustrating so far, because while my college has a detailed "course compatibility" on courses from other universities that it considers compatible ... there's nothing on the record for this other university.

Instead, they point to the Oklahoma Higher Education Regency website and ask you to refer to them ... and, well. They're not as informative as I'd like.

As far as I can tell, it's going to be a case where I have to talk to them, show them my transcript and courses I've completed, and ask what can transfer over and count as credit.

Here's to hoping that I won't have to worry about taking general education courses all over again if I get into that over university.

GenEds typically transfer over fairly easily. I'd be more worried about the more specific subjects.

Heh. Hoping that holds to be true, then!

Since an art-related degree is different from the business administration degree I'm taking, though, I know the classes for that degree won't go towards something else. Unless it was a higher-tier degree in the same thing, then I would hope that it would ...
