[ The feed flickers to life, whether intentional or not is unknown; however the person in plain view doesn’t seem to care either way. Dressed in a red leather duster, black military uniform underneath that can be recognizable to only those from the same company as himself, there’s an odd sense of sereneness about him as he simply sits and looks

It would depend on the situation, I believe. [There's a smile crossing her lips, obviously thinking of something related to the question.] Whether they deserve it or not, the sudden change of 'luck' has to happen for a reason.

But this young woman's response has some merit to it and he gives a slight smile in appreciation. ]
There is indeed a reason for everything that happens within the worlds and yet, people still hold on to the thought of a "second chance" given, no?
[ He holds up the purple apple a little higher. ] Perhaps that in itself is a gift from the goddess.

Mm. That is true. [He seems rather focused on that apple. Then again, she was the same with her wayfinder.] Maybe it's the idea of starting anew, along with the wish to that's more accurate.
[She smiles faintly, nodding in agreement.] It really is a gift.

He distinctly recalls the last time he's seen Sephiroth, the one time he asks the other for help, only to be rejected with the coldness of a monster that he once claimed them both to be. And perhaps in a way they both still are, as they are both presently here. As the last he knows, the General had died back in that small quiet town of Nibelheim.
Seems like wonders would never cease and if the goddess has granted him redemption, perhaps Sephiroth has gained it somehow as well. That will remain to be seen however, as he keeps his normal smirk on his face. The one that can hide everything he's thinking at the moment. ]
Sephiroth.

「My friend, do you fly away now?
To a world that abhors you and I?」*
[ Oh he knows that Sephiroth would know the verse; how many times has the silver haired man been subjected to his readings? ]
What is it that holds your opinion back then.

[Nope. Not going to comment what sounds like poetry, or the introspection.]

[ And why not take advantage of that second chance if you've been given it; Genesis certainly will. ]
