I can clean up my own mess. [And so saying, she helps him with one hand, wiping down the coffee on the floor while he picks up the pieces of the broken cups. She tries not to let it show how she finds this frustrating: she hates not being able to do all what she used to do because of an injury.
She throws out the soaked paper towel with a barely concealed pout: she really was looking forward to that cup of coffee. And now it's time to get up and Lucy struggles to do so, trying to pull herself with one arm. a little help?]

All right, [she finally relents as she settles on the couch], I just....don't like being unable to do anything.
[She sits up so she can watch Desmond's broad shoulders as he works in the kitchen and smirks lightly after a moment, her tone teasing]

I don't really need help, [And even if she does, Lucy is not about to say it out loud.] but I wouldn't mind some company. There's just so much to watch on the network at the moment. And it'd be nice to have a real discussion.
