[She makes a rather exasperated face, but that isn't Sephiroth's fault. It's all Kelly Bridge's fault.]
Land's End is run by a newcomer, like ourselves. There are a few others who run shops, if that is what they occupied themselves with before coming here.
[Land's End had delicious seafood. Delicious enough that that dastardly Kelly Bridge had used it to lure her back into the city. The bastard.]
With no industry and no currency, it leaves us all idle. But I would be happy to give you directions to the libraries. They've vast, and varied.
...I suppose if you are a military man... You could join the local guard, they're needed from time to time...

[It comes as something of a relief, saying that. He might like to say it at home. He is weary of working for people who he now thinks may be little more than unconscionable murderers. A year? People remain here for so long? [That does give him pause.] I will ask these individuals, then.
I'm not used to being idle. I've been studying the situation, and I'm sure that will keep me occupied for some time, but it is not the same. [Previously, he would have been most eager to return home, to his men, but, surprising himself, he doesn't care as much as he thought he would.]

There are some who have been here nearly a year, perhaps they will have a better idea of how to get by in the city.
