Is it supposed to be a place you know?

[He'd asked around, and finally found some locals who seemed to know exactly what he was talking about, and where he wanted to be. Entering the fragmented castle, his first thoughts had been that all of it was his Place of Solace, until his guides had directed him higher

that place doesn't look familiar, but it's like... deja vu. but he knows he's never been somewhere where there are white walls all around. come on, never. The Castle That Never Was didn't come close to the kind of sterile environment Ven seemed to be in...

[Ventus shrugs, settling back against the throne and yawning. If anything, this place made him feel really tired.]

Roxas said it could be from my future-- the weird time stuff.

Maybe it is. That'd be pretty weird...

[ that place gives him the creeps, though. he can't stop himself from shivering a little like he remembered an unpleasant dream. ]

But sounds like we've got a lotta weird time stuff.

[Gotta- yawn- be positive, Sora. Like Ven. Like Ven struggling to keep his eyes open.]

[A sheepish grin. Sorry Sora, he wouldn't normally fall asleep on you.]

I dunno, this place just makes me tired. Like...like I could sleep forever.

Maybe you shouldn't be there too long.

Aqua said she and Terra are gonna come meet me here, so I'm waiting.

I guess--just don't fall asleep and you'll be okay. [ heh! ] They're your friends?

[Sleeping on a stone chair would be pretty uncomfortable, heh.]

[It's nice, to think Sora has such friends. Another thing to be proud of.]

They are. [ he was kind of lonely without them around. ] Are yours always around? It sounds like you guys're never apart, not really.

Well yeah, they're always-- [A pause.] They're always...

[He smiles, freehand patting his pocket, though Sora can't see it.]

They're always right where I need 'em, no matter how far apart we are. My friends are my power.

[He still missed them, though.]

Yeah, they are, aren't they?

[ and although Ven can't see it, Sora grasps the chains of Oblivion and Oathkeeper in his pocket, looking down with a fond smile. ]

I missed 'em a lot when we were apart.

I hear you there.

[He's missed Terra and Aqua terribly, but then, there'd been so much going on, it was hard to have a spare moment to really think about them too hard.]

But that's what happens when you have the keyblade- lots of travel. At least it's fun! [Most of the time.]
