[He totally looks excited.] Yeah, sure! Whenever, wherever. I'm not doing anything.

As for the place... I think it's just a place where you feel the most at home at. A place, you know, of solace. But it's probably important to you somehow, I'm guessing. [He's not familiar with it so he's a little curious as to why but he won't pry.] Like you'd think mine would be my home but it's my teams' headquarters instead. [Well. It will be once he finds it again, since he assumes it'll still be around somewhere.]

Wonderful! [He gives a large grin.] I figured I needed to meet with the man who called himself the Asgardian as soon as I could.

If you spend a great deal at your headquarters, I can see why it would be yours, as well.

[He nods]

What you says makes sense. I enjoyed my time in this town.

[An understatement.]

[He looks a little embarrassed.] Really, it's not that big of a deal...

It's where I would see my best friends the most too. [Misses them. But he's sure everyone misses at least someone here.]

Of course it is--you do not give yourself enough credit.

There are people I knew here, as well...I do not know when I will see them again, but just being in this place feels good.

[There's a jet coasting over the area, drawn by the neon lights. Starscream deploys his landing gear and touches down without so much as a squeak, rolling to a silent stop on the road.]

[Thor has never seen anything like that, truly, and stands from where he is on top of the building, peering out into the darkness]

Come out of that contraption--so I may see you.

[The jet rocks a little on it's landing gear, clearly amused by the demand.]

Out? Crawl out of your own skin first, and perhaps I'll oblige.

[It shouldn't be this fun messing with human beings.]

So...so you are this metal contraption.

[He tilts his head. It's almost like the destroyer, actually.]

What do you want.

[ Given it's probably a long wheelchair cycle away, Charles will just talk to him over the PORTAL tonight. ]

I imagine it is something to do with the emotional attachment, not necessarily if you lived there or not.

Good evening, Thor.

I would have to agree.

Evening. I am sorry for not speaking to you sooner. I saw you lost a friend. My apologizes.

It's alright. I don't expect everyone to have spoken up. Especially when they don't know him.

[ It was more aimed for the people who knew Erik anyways. ] If you do not mind me asking... what makes that place have more of an attachment than your birthplace?

I know what it is to lose people, though. Here we need to band together, help each other.

[He shrugs, once.]

I grew here, in four days, than perhaps a hundred at home.

Standing in the dark, illuminated by the neon lights, Loki looks fey and drawn; if one was fond of referencing Shakespeare, it would be fair to say that he may even have a lean and hungry look. Approaching Smith Motors, he schools his face and the strange shadows fall away, revealing nothing more or less than Thor's brother.

Tell me about this place?

It is the place I resided in, when I was on Midgard.

Thor moves to stand at Loki's side. He hates to lie, even if it is half truths; he isn't even good at it, truthfully. It has always been Loki's forte. The silver-tongued trickster.

But he has to try his best; things have been going well enough with his brother--but he has yet to find the best course of action in dealing with things. It's not what he is used to, to say the least; not barreling forward without a thought.

It is a town called Puente Antiguo, in the state of New Mexico. The people I know who lived here studied the bifrost--but they called it something else.

He smiles softly, shaking his head. I think you would have liked listening to them speak of it. The science they base their theories on.

Thor could speak honestly then, with warmth. Had Loki met Jane, met Erik--he is sure that they would have spent long nights discussing theories.

Loki can admit to himself that once they might have been able to have those long, late night discussions of theoretical science. He's not so sure that it will be possible now.

And you were happy here? Truly happy? He's listened to what others have said about why certain locations come with dreamers and the theory about happiness applies to his own place of solace. Why? What did this place give you that all of Asgard withheld?

I was. In ways I hadn't been happy since our childhood, Loki. When we would go hunting together, running free.

Thor smiles softly, and starts to walk towards the building. Perhaps we should do that, some time. Do what they had not taken the time to do in years. Not just adventuring on some wild idea Thor had--but something they had both enjoyed in their youth.

The other question is harder to answer, but he tries his best. I learned what an arrogant, pigheaded ass I have been. He smiles softly, I met a woman here, as well. One worth coming back for.

He isn't sure how Loki will take the news, but he doubts his brother would ever believe that simply 'growing' as a person would constitute having a place such as this for his Solace. Jane, Darcy, Erik--they were all part of it, he is sure.

This place does not bring what is familiar, but what is important, it seems. A place where you felt at peace, perhaps even happy. A place where your heart is.

I was always quite happy in the Palace but...

[He smiles, nodding]

You are right. There is a large part of my heart here, with the people missing from it.

It is strange how the city seems to know our hearts, sometimes better than we do.

[And she learned about hearts on the fields of Mt. Koifushi. It all works out.]

Or perhaps I simply didn't think in the right way...but this place is of dreams, is it not? Dreams are supposed to show us our true desires.

[He bows his head towards her slightly.]

My name is Thor Odinson. I am pleased to make your acquaintance.
