[Morticia doesn't hesitate, since books are involved. She rushes over as fast as she's able, stepping right into the soggy floor and not noticing that it instantly soaks into her long dress.

She's instantly scooping up books, but catches Yuuta's eye the minute he turns around.]

U-Um. Anywhere. Any books that are starting to get wet or are still dry. Find a dry table? I'll make one if needed.

[He then gathers up a few buckets and throws the water outside of the door. The flowers along the edge of the street will probably appreciate it.]

He pokes his head in the door and glances worriedly the water pooling on the floor]

[Perhaps it was. Either way, Yuuta would not close the doors and bar someone from finding a book, even if most of them were becoming nothing but the wood pulp that made them. Maybe he would be able to replace the ones lost and make it up to his customers later, when the water was gone. So when the bell over the door rang, Yuuta looked up, looking aghast.]

[Gideon steps in anyway, fishing a dropped booked up from the floor and attempting to wipe the moisture away with his hand as he approaches.

Writing would be a little awkward, so he raises his eyebrows questioningly and whirls his fingers around at the ceiling, then around the shop in general. Hopefully that was as good as a 'what happened?']
