Really, it would almost be disappointing, but that blood is more important to her right now. She runs over, and immediately places a hand on Rose to monitor her ki/life force, and another over her neck to check for a pulse.]

When Mei's hand goes toward her neck though, a hand raises up to wrap around her wrist. Kind of like something out of a horror movie. ]

Is that entirely necessary?

[ Josh jumps up at the sight on the PORTAL. Since when was it cool to show bodies?! ]
Hey! Are you alright? Can you even hear me? Probably not, I mean you're probably unconscious but--if you can, just, say something!

Images of Jack Noir flashed in her mind, the fight that had transpired before her arrival, the body of her mother and John's father laying in pools of their own blood. And then John getting stabbed right in front of her. Horrorterrors and flashes of the furthest ring, Derse, a cornucopia of confusing images coming forth from her subconscious.
When he started yelling she opened her eyes, focused up on the dark sky for a moment before looking at him. ]
Who are you?
[ And of course, eventually, the young dark elf would arrive to cart them inside. ]

The door isn't locked, though, and so he opens it -- to find a girl. Not a fey, not by his reckoning... a witch, perhaps? If that's the case, her attire seems to suggest that she isn't from home, but he will be careful nevertheless. Either way, she is covered in blood, though she doesn't actually seem to have been injured. ]
Are you hurt?

Judging by the blood, I would say yes.
[ but then she feels over where the wound would have been. ] But I might be wrong.

Move slowly. You will be dizzy.
[ There seems to be no wound to heal, so he doesn't try, instead shifting to make sure she isn't hurt anywhere else. ]
This city has powerful magicks. Perhaps they aided you.

She uses the bed to brace herself, eventually standing and feeling around the bloodied sash around her waist for something. Probably her wands. ]
What city?
