I am searching for some answers to several questions so I can best assess the situation and find a method of transportation in order to return home. Ah, someone thinking before they panic! Good, good, I like that. Novel concept around here, it seems. I've heard there's a way out - some people who go looking for it return without having found a thing, others disappear, which means they either found what they were looking for, or the rulers - and those who work for them - capture them and hold them prisoner indefinitely to allow us the illusion of possible escape, something to work towards, if you will.

Mmmmhm, you said that. And it's true - the problem is finding the way out. Not impossible, of course, nothing like that is ever impossible, but I'd say it's downright tricky, particularly when there are people who don't want you to get out.
