[Night, down at the beach in Promenade, waves against the shore, the odd whistle of wind, crickets chirping but also the crackling of a fire, maybe out of place. Teneka will then pick up Ace or part of Ace; sprawled out along the sand, it shows Ace's right side as he lies flat on his back. The crackling fire is from him. Bright orange flames

[Beach, there was a vortex spot at the beach and he can be over there in minutes if he needs to.]

[Just more coughing because wow, this hurts and he knows that he's dead, he remembers saying goodbye, dropping forward, a smile on his face. Except he's here now, in agony and wondering what the hell is going on.]

[Harry's there in a few minutes, a massive, old metal tackle box in hand and a cooler tugged along in another. Flipping open the tackle box shows the makings of a rather impressive first aid kit, even a suturing needle and thread in one of the little trays that fold out. But first thing's first, wishing up a towel and pressing it down on the wound to staunch the blood loss.]

[Look bro, he was kept in an underwater prison, with seastone cuffs stopping him from using his ability. Plus, being a Devil's Fruit user in an undersea prison? Fucking sucks.]

Too hard. [He finally gets something out at least that isn't 'ow' or 'Luffy' or a confused jumble about something that won't make sense to anyone. Battles and last goodbyes do that to a man.

Might want to watch the towel though. Being logia means that sometimes, it's a subconscious thing so those flames springing up aren't something he can switch off so well when he's completely and utterly out of it.]

Lior... [Damn, even thinking is too much effort for him right now because there is a damn hole in the middle of his chest.]

[ and soon enough there she is, having ran clear across the damn city just to get to him. Oh, man, Veles is going to have her head on a platter if he finds out she's out doing something this stupid again-- and all her knights sans the one she's already planning on healing for that matter.

Of course, for a few seconds all she can do is stand over him and stare. This...this looks too familiar and so help her it is impossible to hold back tears. ] Ace...

[What Lioriley will see isn't a pretty sight but the flames do a good job at obscuring it. Ace has plenty of other marks - cuts and scrapes and bruises, larger marks around his wrists and ankles from the seastone cuffs he was made to wear until very recently - and there's blood and grime all over him.

Eyes shut, breathing so shallow it'd be easy to mistake him for dead as it is, he finally cracks one eye open enough to look up at her.]

[He manages to raise a hand to wave at his wound to explain it.]

I think so. Lying down is okay and I'm healing thanks to some people and [give him a second, keeping one train of thought going is hard because young ladies don't need to see that kind of carnage] And my flames are doing the rest.

I've had two but getting back to my house might take it out of me. Not sure how well I'm going to handle movement. Or upright positions.
