Wondering if I should go back to university for my postgraduate. I'm sure you're disappointed that it's not checking myself into an asylum.

Is the fabulous prize a date with you and your eccentricities? I'm sure the lucky winner would feel like a tenth wheel, if not more.

That is a disappointing, considering it's where a woman of your talents is best asserted.

The fabulous prize isn't really relevant, and I don't do dating.

Feedback I get here will be applied to a study I'm compiling as to how Promenade chooses and recruits those that wind up here.

I could make a straight jacket look darling.

I'm crushed, devastated, beside myself with woe. What a disservice you're doing the female population.

I could give you a very honest answer but you would never believe a word of it.

[She's very tempted to tell you. She wants to know what a human head exploding sounds like.]

Sure, they'll never know the satisfaction of being with capable hands and an intelligent mind.

You'd be surprised what I'd believe.

Are you a native Icelandic or is this something more tailored to the movie Hostel's theme?

I'm native to everywhere, and I've never seen that movie.

It's a very graphic horror film tailored to those that travel outside of their given countries.

A lot like Touristas with more sexuality and nudity as a basic theme. It was an awful film. I don't recommend it.

How are you native to everywhere?

Yes, I'm trying to rationalize and theorize how Promenade chooses those that wake here.

I'll be sure to mention when I get anywhere reasonable with the endeavor.

Everything has reason.

I'm starting with the basics before I move forward.

[ There's a pause before Helen answers, deciding what - and how - to reply. There was Adam, the rifts... the fight for her life, as overly dramatic as that sounded. She still felt twinges of the attack on occasion, real or not ]

I was... faced with an old acquaintance.

Doesn't sound like a good circumstance, which is looking to be something of a trend.

Our meeting was not particularly pleasant, no

Would you consider Promenade a respite given the circumstances?

And how many are actually going to be honest or not vague beyond comprehension is the main question.

I'm sure I'll be able to reason between the vagueness, the lying, and the absolute truth.

This is more to find the similarities and differences between all of us here than anything else.

I don't envy you that endeavor considering the many types we have here. But, I'll bite.

First time, just fought the leader of the warring faction with what little of my faction was also on the planet at the time.

Second time, still fighting the opposing faction in an ongoing war, with the added variety of the planet natives also deciding to be a third and fourth faction to worry about in some way.

You've been here twice.

Interesting.

War, dismay, and desecration seem to be a trending topic for those that have shown here.

I've only met a few that were living under normal circumstances. Which I think says a lot about the choice at play when it comes to the residents that return to cognizance here.

I'm still working on theories about the natives, or Promenadians, if you will.
