At first it shows essentially a first-person camera: the world going by- Reykjavík, specifically, arms coming from nowhere periodically as if a normal day is playing out with normal goings-on. Someone begging and pleading, staring straight into the mirror, before his head twists around, neck snaps silently, and before the person even falls the camera is elsewhere. Then the focus seems to pan back, to widen gradually until almost all of Earth is in scope, and most of Hell, and above the shining gates of Heaven, far-off and impenetrable. He stares at those longest; it's the only place in he can't see inside of. Only the fortress walls.]

How does this lengthen the leash? It just gives me more to look at.
