[Naoto slides her plain white mask off now that she's inside. She sits down, and for a moment it seems like she might've been talking to herself - she has a habit of that.

But then a smile touches her lips, even if it doesn't quite reach her eyes.]

Then again, isn't having regrets part of being alive?

Hm. Maybe that's part of the reason I signed up.

[She's caught off guard by the question, so she doesn't answer right away. And when she does, there's a hint of stubbornness in her voice...not aimed at Ichigo, but enough to give him a taste of what Heine deals with too.]

Sometimes. But most of the things that I regret at times are things I wouldn't change.

I had a feeling that might be true. Why is that? Is it that things turned out better than you thought they would? Or...was whatever you learned from it just worth the trouble?

Yeah, it is. Regrets are just as much a part of life as anything else.

What's the opposite of regrets?

Y'know, I really haven't thought about that. I don't think I can honestly put it as one word. But ... I don't think there's anyone who doesn't regret something about their lives.
