> This is a theme that runs through almost every story I write involving Charles: he gets cold easily. It's a bit of an extrapolation from the tweed+waistcoat combo he wears at the CIA; I like thinking about him piling on the layers, partly because it keeps him warm and partly because the extra layers allow him to think he can partly "insulate" from his gift. Who knows if it's really effective - well, he does, and he's not telling. [Also, he'd look adorable.]
> Erik...soon forgot to keep kosher. And doesn't regret a damn bite. It's not just that he doesn't do the refusing food bit, as that seems rather obscene after years of starvation. It's also for practicality's sake; it lets him stay under the radar until he's required to transcend it.
> After the beach, after Cuba, Charles learns how to handle a gun. And every time he fires he thinks, "too late, too late".
Jesus, Wesley/Brandon happens to be my favorite McFassy crossover. :)
> The first time Brandon finds Wesley working on his beautifully machined sniper rifle, he runs - but not because he's afraid; he runs because he doesn't understand why he wants to take up the gun from Wesley's hands and aim it - outside, elsewhere, at the rest of the world.
> Brandon plays the piano. It used to be an escape for him. Now he thinks he might want to go back to it, because Wesley once came back from a job regretting that he had to destroy an orchestra's worth of instruments.
> They both love Les Miserables, but root for different characters. Wesley only smirks when Brandon compares himself to Grantaire, and says he's no Enjolras.
I think you was the one who make me start to love this pairing... Hmm... The first one is heartbreaking and the second cute and the third... I must admit I never saw or read les Miserables. *shame on me* But after I read something in wikipedia I believe Grantaaire and Enjolras fit them even if Wesley doesn't see it.

I said 'or' because I know lots of people who can't stand Logan/Scott and I wasn't sure if you like them...
Reply
> Logan saw the color of Scott's eyes, as opposed to the red blasting beams, once. He's not telling what he saw.
> Scott occasionally reads books out loud because he knows Logan is somewhere nearby and will appreciate hearing his voice.
> Logan's bedside manner leaves much to be desired, but after a while, Scott won't let anyone else patch him up.
