The current order is US32.48 and the cheapest shipping option is US17.70. So, I might not proceed with the spree if there are no new orders.

I think US17.70 for 5 items is a little expensive for shipping (after I divide it out). But, if everyone is agreeable, then I will proceed and order.

Please reply by 7pm!
Thanks!

I came here through google lol so forgive the ancient LJ id since you require one to post. I'm abit confused about payments, do we pay now or after you confirm the spree (since it seems to be pending); then another payment due for shipping when you receive the items?

Hello,
you pay 5.82 + 1 * 1.46 = sgd 9.96.

The current order is US32.48 and the cheapest shipping option is US17.70. So, I might not proceed with the spree if there are no new orders.

Ain't 5.82+1*1.46 = 7.28?
Do you mind explaining the 1* thing as I'm a newbie to that?

Yup, I will prefer to hold. Hopefully we can get more people.

Hello,
US1 is the initial shipping fee for the item that you are ordering. I am collecting US1 per item.

The rest of the shipping fee will be calculated as top up in the 2nd payment.

Hello Liyun.

I agree with you and think that 17.70USD is too expensive for shipping.

But keep me updated when you open another iherb spree! Thanks!

Hello,
I am extending this spree to see if it hits US60!
Will update on the shipping cost before asking spree-ers to transfer the money over.

However, do note that the 10% discount for US60 orders and above ends today :)

yes, the spree is still on.

What is so confusing about the payment process?

1st payment: grand total * US1* no of items *1.46
2nd Payment: INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING (top up) + Local Postage + Handling fee of $0.50 per spree-er

US1 per item is the initial shipping fee. You will pay for the top ups after I place the order. Cuz the final shipping fee will only be known after I finalize the order.

Shipping cost will be calculated based on weight of item.

hi babe,
if its "grand total * US1* no of items *1.46"
means my order would be "7.66*USD1*2*1.46 = S$22.37"
aren't we double counting? cos "7.66*1.46*2" we are double the whole amt by 2.
And if i have 3 items, it means i have to triple the amt of my products??
If i have 10 items, i have to pay 10times the price of my products. Quite absurd right?

hmmm, im not trying to be rude or anything, just want to clarify things..
wonder if the other people are thinking the same as me... or am i missing sth here?
Thankyou!

Hello, I'm one of the spree-ers here.

I think liyun86 is trying to say:

(grand total in USD + [initial shipping in USD]) x exchange rate = 1st payment in SGD

hence yours would be:

(USD 7.66 + [USD 1 x no. of items]) x 1.46 = 1st payment in SGD

not sure, but that's what i thought! maybe liyun86 can clarify!!

Hey babe, thanks for clarifying. That is what I meant.
Shall add in the [ ] in the post above.

Thanks :)

Hello,
there will never be 10 times payment. I think the misunderstanding comes with the "*" 1 when it should be "+". Thanks for pointing out that error. I will edit the post.

Also, I just want to clarify that for ALL my iherb spree, I will calculate every item based on shipping weight and it is compiled into an excel file so everyone gets to see how shipping fee is calculated.

So, Let me try to rephrase the payment method again.

Lets say you have 3 items, priced: US2, 5, 8.

So, your payment will be US2+5+8 + 1*3 * 1.46 = initial transfer amount.

There will be a 2nd top up for the extra shipping fee (on top of the US3 that you already paid).

Hope that clarifies.
