How long does it REALLY take?

Ok, how long does it take to get to the US once they leave Iraq? I have heard anywhere from 1-5 days. I know nothing is set in stone, but in your experience, on average how many days did it take once they left the country?

last time he came home he went to northern iraq. then ireland. then atlanta. it took like 2 days. but it varies.

Same here. They went from to Ireland (Iraq to Kuwait to Ireland) then to Maine, then home. A couple of days.

6 days to get here and 5 to get back. Once he got out of Iraq it was about 18 hours.

Was that on R&R? R&R tend to have different time frames because they dont have to outprocess in Kuwait. I didnt quite understand your answer though, was it 5 days, 6 days or 18 hours?

Once the guys get out of Iraq it takes 18 hours.

The first time he went to Iraq it took him 5 days to get home I believe. His outprocessing in Kuwait was 2 days. According to the ARMY it will take him 5 days to get from Iraq to Texas (he has his date for leaving Iraq and his homecoming date).

Hmm, yea, Ive been hearing anywhere from 2-5 days, Im hoping its more like 2.
