I did read it, I was having LJ problems and so posted it so I could go back and safely edit the entry. My review is up now. ::smiles::
I felt, pretty much the way you did, but I was impressed with the growth of the characters. I loved watching the relationship between brother and sister grow, and part of the reason I plan on continuing the series is because it looks like that will be a recurring theme.
I have a book suggestion for you. I am not sure if you have ever read any of her work but Amelia atwater-Rhodes writes fantastic vampire and fantasy novels. I read her book in the forest of the night when I was in 9th grade and could barely put it down. I instantly feel in love with her characters. I also believe that she wrote her first Novel when she was thirteen. impressive...
Well, it just so happens I have some extra time, and will be off looking up her books.
Now, I can't say for sure that I'll get into them, as I'm actually not a huge paranormal fan. I do believe this is the first vampire book I've read, and this one didn't actually have a lot of vampire in it, just the idea of vampires....if that makes any sense. But, I love to learn about new to me authors so I'm off to look any how.
