Crochet and PBS

I wish I knew someone who could teach me to crochet. I bought one of those "Learn to Crochet", or maybe it was "Crochet for Dummies" books. Long story short, the dummy book didn't help....haha
*sighs*
I hope I am not destined to have to buy all of my crochet goodness.

I've been trying to learn for years. I'm lucky enough to now live in a house with a woman who I swear to god could crochet with her eyes closed. She's the shizznit at it. And so, when I run into problems, I ask her, or (and this is like the fortieth time I've typed this) I check out you tube believe it or not. At least on lady has put on nifty instructional videos of how to do certain stitches. I also found an LJ community for Crocheting crochetcrochet and after pursuing it found that people ask some really hard questions and seem to get them answered. So...I have resources LOL. And I'm just beginning. I just hope someone else will get enjoyment out of what I make too. I made 3 clocks over the summer and had such a blast doing them! I thought they were all beautiful, but they didn't sell on ebay, and in a fit of rage at some point (I have fits of rage) I threw two of them away, the other one is in the bathroom. Maybe I'll try the clock thing again soon and try to sell them on Etsy.com they may move better there.

Wow....long reply. Sorry
