This stresses me out to see Steve brought into this shit.
I am talking to titheniel about it now and I just can't believe the boys are getting dumped on here by the "fans" of the show. Christ I hope this kind of shit doesn't get back to them or they might be wondering why they work so hard for the show and still end up getting shit like this???

Dude, I also can't believe even Steve had his name on this shit. This is such a contradiction, because really, who does Steve's publicity around SPN fans? Jensen or SPN fandom? I'd say the second one. All Jensen did was open the doors to ONE FREAKING SONG of the guy to go into the TV show he's working, and Steve started to get know because we know too much about Jensen, meaning that we know they are friends for a long time now. And then the fanfics and especulations started to roll, and THOSE are the ones that made Steve known around fandom.

Yeah it makes me wonder if this LJ world gets a bit obsessive sometimes. This is the first time I've seen it blow up like this and it kinda left me scratching my head thinking wow I didnt realise one fandom could turn on each other so quickly!

Anyway it's done my head in enough for one day. I'm going to bed, see what tomorrow brings in this fandom!

I hate fandom wank! People tend to get so unreasonable that's why I always stay out of it. It's okay to express an opinion and to say "I don't like to have Sandy on the show" but sadly most of the time it doesn't stop there.

Unfortunately I gotta say I'm agreeing with you here.
I mean, it's one thing to go and say "Okay, Sandy will be there, and I really don't like this idea", but to drag Jared and Jensen in the middle is just insane and out of control. And also, you can say you don't particulary like the idea of Sandy and Steve being there someway, which I'd totally respect and whatever, but to say shit about them too? I mean, man, wtf?? o.O

Well, things started when fandom knew Sandy was gonna be on 3x05. Since she has connections with Jared (well, duh! xD), they thought it wasn't such a nice thing (but they said it with lower words). Then they brough up that Jensen already did that once, when he got Steve's song into SPN. That's where Steve is in all this mess.
Stupid, uh?
