Between 58 and 59, as far as I can determine. The series ran in 1991 and 1992.

I love the hat he's wearing in some of these shots... he looks really adorable in it.

It's rather fun seeing him at about the same age as I (and others amongst us) are now. I wouldn't mind having a day at the races with him, I must say. I love the Bentley, the horsies are quite interesting, and then we could repair to the stately home for tiffin.
