Last but not least, Napoleon is killer in that tux. Can you just imagine being on his arm. Wonderful!

I adore the look on Illya's face in 18, and you're right there are some terrific profile shots in this act as well. As to 119, well, it goes without saying I love it. :-)

Very interesting episode mostly to my opinion because of the infamous Angelique and her interaction with the our boys. First the scene at the Auction: when Napoleon & illya talk are pure delight and at #54-56 the surpring comment about the "jealous" Illya it has been always great a piece of conversation here in LJ when we review this ep. of course It doesn't matter what we think about it represents Illya's protection of his partner and he' s very suuspicios about Angelique real intentions. Also in the store the Illya 's comments towards Angelique are brilliant.

Great pics the whole Act I, one of my favorites of Season I.

Angelique's verbal sparring and oh-so-haughty and naughty expressions as played by Janine Gray do make her an unforgettable character. She and Illya in a snarking match would be a joy to behold.

10a is a great semi-profile shot of Napoleon.

Ah, Napoleon and Angelique playing so dangerously and sexily at the spy game! Absolutely lovely shot of Napoleon in 47.

59-70: I love Napoleon's range of agent-cautious and yet male-flirting facial expressions during his conversation with Angelique.

99 is a great partner shot.

104: A Napoleon full-on-the-job spying expression. Really nice.

The reparte between Napoleon and Angelique is highly entertaining. A decent bit of screenwriting there. And of course RV's performance is spot on - as is JG's. No wonder the pairing has survived all these years in the minds of fans.
