No, most lethal cases happened in the Northern part of Germany (around Hamburg and Bremen); so far 29 people died of kidney complications, but here we've been spared. I boiled all vegetables, though, and we kept our hands from fresh salad and tomatoes. Thank God the spooky epidemic slowly seems to die down.
Mona! So glad you're all okay! I peeked at your journal but the last entry was of the prom (yay, J!)
The epidemic is the only thing the local TVs report of Germany now. It looks really scary. I wanted to email you but unsure you still use the same addy. Take care, love! *hugshugshugs*
My email address hasn't changed, and I'll make a longer post about the blessings (and curses) of writing these days, to keep y'all tuned. I'm insanely busy right now, and I barely find the time to read everyone's entries and place a comment here and there.
I thought about you a lot, too. I'm reading an interesting book about how pets improve their human companion's wellbeing and vice versa (it's Kindred Spirit by Allen M. Schoen) and I keep thinking of you and Pip-dog. *hugs*
Hi, Shin. I left the Globe last year. Back to hippie freelancing now. :)
I use a Nokia C3 myself. I don't know if it's poor reception at my place or LJ being crazy, but it always takes forever to load, if at all. The app simplifies things, but not by much. I have to post stuffs four times before it comes through.
And I've thought of you often as well! Especially whenever Florida is mentioned (Johnny's due to host a men's fashion show in St. Petersburg, FL, for instance :D) but I understand you've moved to Illinois?

A local TV runs Shaun The Sheep now. Crazy woolly creatures! I think of you when I see it. :)

PS. I often access/post/comment from my humble nokia without using lj applications, like now. I don't know how those work. :)
